The White House Web Page

Yes people! The White House has updated it's Civil Rights Web pages:

Support for the LGBT Community
"While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It's about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect."
-- Barack Obama, June 1, 2007
The site then goes on to list many of the issues the Administration will deal with:
  • Expand Hate Crimes Statutes

  • Fight Workplace Discrimination

  • Support Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples

  • Oppose a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage

  • Repeal Don't Ask-Don't Tell

  • Expand Adoption Rights

  • Promote AIDS Prevention

  • Empower Women to Prevent HIV/AIDS:

And to think that it's only the first full day of this Administration!

Take the blinders off. "Hate crimes" = thought crimes.

Such a thing is not a "civil right". It's a perversion of law and justice. Also, the White House page says that it will support "Federal Rights for LGBT Couples". WHY? There should be no such federal laws.

But I guess that because someone like me is against a big federal government making up new "rights" and adding a whole roster of laws to that effect (thereby taking AWAY your rights), you'll just mindlessly say that I'm a "bigot" or a "hater" or some other immature and thoughtless label. Right? That's the pattern you've shown.
