was named a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). The SPLC states that hate groups in the country increased by 4% in 2008 from 2007. They are listed with 12 other active anti-gay groups in the country. The SPLC states that:Anti-gay groups are organizations that go beyond mere disagreement with homosexuality by subjecting gays and lesbians to campaigns of personal vilification.
Wow Brian, congrats! Now you have another success story to put on your list and for 2 years in a row! Way to go!
A bit more disturbing is the addition of another anti-gay hate group in Massachusetts, the "The School of Christian Activism" in Springfield, Mass. What isn't surprising is that none other than anti-gay and Nazi revisionist Scott Lively, friend of anti-gay MassResistance's Brian Camenker (and one of the GREAT speakers at Brian's Annual Benefit) is associated with this "church".
Both of their Wikipedia entries for Lively and Camenker list them as being "conservative" when in fact they're anti-gay activists. Their histories have shown that these two men are obsessed with gay people and make their living off the hatred of gays and lesbians.

I can't think of a more deserving group to win Hate Group status.
