Hartford (WTNH/AP) -- The Connecticut Supreme Court has ruled that a ban on same-sex marriage in Connecticut is unconstitutional.
"The guarantee of equal protection under the law, and our obligation to uphold that command, forbids us from doing so," the high court said in making its decision. "In accordance with these state constitutional requirements, same sex couples cannot be denied the freedom to marry."

And we needn't worry about Brian Camenker opening his trap about this. Oh no...Brian is far too busy worrying about how the Catholic Church has dropped him like a hot rock and he's wayyyyyy far behind in collecting signatures for his little referendum petition.
