Is the Age of Consent in Georgia below 15?

Interesting story on CNN:
Teen disappears before wife, 37, gives birth
The story takes place in Atlanta, Georgia and the husband is 15 years old, the wife, 37. Gosh, wasn't that one of the states that has a constitutional amendment banning same sex couples from marrying?
This state shall recognize as marriage only the union of man and woman. Marriages between persons of the same sex are prohibited in this state. No union between persons of the same sex shall be recognized by this state as entitled to the benefits of marriage. This state shall not give effect to any public act, record or judicial proceeding of any other state or jurisdiction respecting a relationship between persons of the same sex that is treated as a marriage under the laws of such other state or jurisdiction. The courts of this state shall have no jurisdiction to grant a divorce or separate maintenance with respect to any such relationship or otherwise to consider or rule on any of the parties’ respective rights arising as a result of or in connection with such relationship.
They also prohibited billboards from showing that gay and lesbian people are firemen and nurses. They must just like their marriages between men and women, oops, I meant boys and girls. Do you think Gov. Romney would have allowed that marriage to take place in Massachusetts?

I think the age of consent in Georgia is 16. The story didn't make sense but nothing else about that state makes sense either.

Don't forget that Eubie Blake was asked to leave "Love Will find a Way" out of "Shuffle Along" because people didn't believe that blacks were capable of romantic love.

The cast members were literally afraid of being lynched.

The age of consent is 16, and to get married you must be 18 (w/o parental consent). You can be 16 with parental consent an get married. The reason these two were able to be married is because there is a law stating that no matter the age, if the bride-to-be is pregnant, you can get married. Great law, huh?
