Many people have written to me how artistically challenged the Article 8/Massresistance group is, however, the newest beats it all. It you've ever been on their site at Article 8 or Parents Right's Coalition you know how cluttered (and out of date) it is. But you've got to take a look at their newest addition. It's a graphic of what I think is supposed to be a thermometer. You've seem them before by other organization to record the donations that "pour" in. As the money rises so does the level in the thermometer.
Most normal people use red to indicate the level of funds coming in but not Article 8. Always one to be on far right of anything they use yellow. To paraphrase Massresistance: What does that make you think about, a yellow substance rising in tube?
On a side note, it seems that Brian Camenker is soliciting funds for Article 8 and Massresistance by allowing people to make a tax free donation through an organization called "Parents Education Foundation, Inc" where he's the President, Treasurer, Clerk and one of the directors (Wow, he can do it all just like Barbra Streisand!). The funny thing is that tax exempt nonprofit corporations are not allowed to lobby the legislatures, state or federal on any matter OR funnel donations to organizations who do lobby.

Damn! I'm on this tear about how the fundies and other Dark Siders are so much more media savvy than we pinkos. Then, Article 8 and MassNews keep looking like they're done by the guy who couldn't even qualify for the A/V club in high-school.
Well we have all seen Camenker on Comedy Central and heard him and "Amy", of the "office staff", on the radio on Saturdays so we know they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Also, after seeing the word "LEAVE" written in the filth on her kitchen table we know Amy is not the world's greatest housekeepers either.
"What does that make you think about, a yellow substance rising in tube?"
--Quite an imagination. Unfortunately, it doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out a billboard with two half-naked men embracing.

And your point is?
Maybe they're brothers?
Maybe they're in love?
Maybe they want a quickie?
Maybe one of them is a married, 'straight' man?
Oh there's lot's of things that come to mind for that billboard. I support it. It's about time we don't get innodated by sexually, explicit heterosexual advertising. There's no maybes about those. So the billboard stays and stupid, ugly, hating people who don't dust - go.
Bye bye baby, bye bye.
Why does Ms. Massresistance has upside down crosses on her blog? Isn't that the sign of the Satan?
Maybe they're saying, "I think Amy from Article 8 is hiding under my bed and I'm scare she might make strange purchases with my credit cards!"
This "Parent's Education Foundation, Inc." should be investigated by the Massachusetts Attorney General and the Internal revenue service to see if they really qualify for Tax Exempt status. If their primary use of donations is not really educational, and they are funneling most of the money for political activity by Article 8 and The Parents’ Rights Coalition, then they are breaking the law and should be taxed like other political groups.
As an aside, I think the Massachusetts wingnut web designs are universally atrocious. They really should hire some closet-case poofter with some sense of artistic style to redesign the Mass News, MFI, Article 8 and PRC sites so that they don’t offend the eye as well as the mind. Click on my name below to see my website with lots of same sex marriage protest photos that I took over the last two years. I think it looks halfway decent.
Sorry that should have been "click on my name above!" My website address is http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~keirst/.
