Don't Hold Your Breath For a Correction

MassResistance Watch called Ms. Massresistance out on her sloppy posting of the "lesbian gangs" which were purported to be roaming Washington D.C. She also included a link to the LifeSite News which retold the false story from Fox News (Big surprise huh!).

In the beginning of July I pointed to the Southern Poverty Law Center's website where they went through the Fox News Broadcast and listed all the inaccuracies in the report. It now appears that LifeSite News is posting the story of the inaccuracies in the Fox News report but has the correction appeared on Massresistance's websites? The answer is a BIG FAT NO!

On July 3rd LifeSiteNews and many other services reported on a Fox News Bill O'Reilly segment on violent lesbian gangs in Washington, DC. and elsewhere. The report included video footage of violent incidents and a report from crime investigator Rod Wheeler. O'Reilly and Wheeler now report that there were significant inaccuracies and exaggerations in the the report.

In his apology Wheeler states, "During the O'Reilly Factor segment on June 21st, while engaged in a discussion on Lesbian gangs, I inadvertently stated that gang
members carry pistols that are painted pink and call themselves the "Pink Pistol Packing Group." I was not referring to the gay rights group "Pink Pistols" who advocates for the lawful rights of gays to carry weapons for protection. Further, I mentioned that there are "over 150 of these gangs" in the greater Washington DC area. What I actually meant is that there are over 150 gangs in the Washington DC area, some of which are in fact lesbian gangs. Lastly, I mentioned in the segment that there is this "national epidemic" of lesbian gangs. A better choice of words would have been to say that there is a growing concern nationally, and especially in major urban areas, of increased gang activity, which includes some lesbian gang activity. I apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused."

Massresistance, in keeping with their policy of posting lies and deception, has posted another erroneous story, this time about the City of Fort Lauderdale:

Mayor of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, stands up to intimidation by homosexual activists over public sex.

Finally, a strong public official! City was overwhelmed by homosexuals having anonymous sexual encounters in public parks & restrooms, angering parents and community. Mayor announced a crackdown - that the city won't take it any longer. Homosexual activists (supported by local press, of course) demonstrated against mayor, held rally, called him a "bigot", etc., but mayor held his ground.

If you click on the link Massresistance even provides you learn that there is no problem with gay people having sexual encounters any where in the city. Even the city police admit that this has never been a problem:
Naugle [the Mayor] said public restrooms are plagued by gay sex in Fort Lauderdale, even though police said it's not a problem. He also said he doesn't use the term "gay" because homosexuals are "unhappy."

Once again, Massresistance doesn't care about the truth. They only turn up to post nasty falsehoods and attempt to attack the gay community. Oh, and they still LOVE to post about sex whether it's true or not.

Make It Illicit If You Don't Know What Really Happens!

How pathetic. Ms. Massresistance is back to obsessing about children again. In her latest rant she sounds as if she's jealous because she doesn't know what goes on at the Gay Straight Student Alliance in the schools but of course that doesn't stop her from using her own perverted mind to think about is going on:
No one really knows what students at the "gay-straight alliance" clubs (GSAs) in our high schools talk about. We're pretty sure the faculty/staff advisors tell the students, "What we talk about here, stays here." But since the topic is sex, and perverted sex at that, we shudder to imagine what goes on.

Oh horrors, these students with their advisers are planning the destruction of the world! We don't know what they talk about but we'll just assume the worst because isn't that what gay people do anyhow, the worst?! /sarcasm

Of course she provides a link to some "Catholic" news service to boost her claim with the usual threat of "you know it will happen in Massachusetts". Oh please!

Now I'm not supposed to say anything because I swore on a stack of gay agenda's (the anti-gay right doesn't believe that we are religious) but I'll tell because once again Ms. Massresistance has let the cat out of the bag...I WENT TO A GSA Meeting! There I said it.

Yes, I went to a meeting of my high school's GSA back in 2002. It was so sick and depraved! I mean I brought my high school yearbook and passed it around so the students could look at it and there were some children of people I went to school with in the GSA. This was truly twisted stuff!

And the horror didn't stop there, they talked about marching in the Youth Pride Event in Boston and making a sign which would designate which school they were from, BONE CHILLING stuff. Oh, and I forgot to talk about the section of the meeting when they talked about getting roughed up by the other students simply because they were coming to the GSA.

Yeah, these GSA's are really X-rated sex clubs disguised as small meetings of fringe students who may be roughed up because they are different. There should definitely be no such avenue for these kids to find each other. They should be kept separate and forced to believe that they are immoral and evil because of the people they happen to fall in love with. What the hell, they are only children, they don't have feelings do they Ms. Massresistance?

GOP "Christian" Action League President Arrested for Action with a Prostitute

And it just keeps getting better:

Coy Privette, a retired Baptist pastor, conservative lawmaker and outspoken advocate for Christian groups, was charged Thursday with paying a prostitute for sex acts.

The 74-year-old Cabarrus County commissioner was arrested at his home in Kannapolis early Thursday. He appeared before a Rowan County magistrate on six misdemeanor charges and was released on a promise to appear in court Aug. 22. He did not return e-mails or calls to his cell and home phones, and no one answered the door at his Kannapolis home.

Privette, a prominent Republican with a 30-year career, is one of the state's most vocal opponents against alcohol sales and legal gambling. He also serves on the State Baptist Convention of North Carolina and as president of the Christian Action League of North Carolina.

The "Christian" organization that he is/was the head of (I think they've already canned him) is VERY concerned about the morality of the public:
One of our most important tasks is training, developing, and motivating Christians to be involved in the political process. We want to mobilize Christians to be as Jesus commanded them to be -- the salt and light of the earth. Christians are to arrests and expose such contemporary issues as abortion, gambling, suicide, sex education, homosexuality, and we provide the information and help needed to deal with these critical issues.

Well, I guess he's OK because they don't mention infidelity and prostitution.

"Ideal" Family Structures

You always hear the anti-gay fanatics talk about the ideal family structure which is supposed to be children with parents consisting of "one man & one woman", you even hear it from Myth Romney. Well, here are some of the couples, by their definition, who would hold up as better parents than a single parent or same sex parent households:

I doubt Massresistance will be picking up any of these stories.

Polite & Reasonable?

I'm still thinking about Massresistance's post the other day when they said they were through with being "polite & reasonable" when I saw this article from Texas:

A Cypress man charged in the death of a Southwest Airlines flight attendant said Saturday that he was doing God's work when he went to a Montrose-area bar last month, hunting for a gay man to kill.

"I believe I'm Elijah, called by God to be a prophet," said 26-year-old Terry Mark Mangum, charged with murder June 11. " ... I believe with all my heart that I was doing the right thing."

This is what happens when "religious" people believe they have the right to force their opinions and beliefs on the general public. To think that people were outraged when Rosie O'Donnell made comments about radical "Christians".

Week 8: Massachusetts Held Hostage

Well folks, it's been 8 weeks since Brian & Amy have "graced" the airwaves with their bland, oops, I mean, brand of humor (yeah right!) and factual information, I mean fanciful information.

The source for the "news" they presented on their show was their own blog and website and they have seemed to keep it updated on a semi-regular basis although the content on both has border more and more on the hysterical and desperate.

I noted yesterday that with all the violence and disturbing tactics the people who are on Massresistance's side have committed, Brian states that it's time to stop being "polite and reasonable." So when can we expect Massresistance and their supporters to become impolite and unreasonable? How does this change from their loony agenda that they emailed out and was posted here last year:
  • Making Changes in their own minds (convincing themselves that they are not prejudiced),
  • Deciding that "these people" (the majority of people in Massachusetts) are not going to beat us,
  • Understanding that we (the right wing fringe loonies) are going to stop them (I guess that's us, the homosexual activists),
  • Stopping the legislature from voting this insanity into law (the insanity is additional funding for at-risk youth and it didn't happen for them),
  • Stopping the powerful homosexual lobby (and yet they say we're only a very tiny minority in the state...)
  • Keeping the hostile Boston media from influencing events (don't they mean they're going to get them to show up at their loony events?)

Really, how much more defeat can these losers take? It's like watching the McCain campaign played out over years in Massachusetts. The only good thing is that their antics provide lots of humorous stories for us to tell the next generation (and it's all captured here!)

Spinning Violence

Well I knew it wouldn't take too long (although they have been taking weeks to respond to recent events) but Massresistance A.K.A. Brian Camenker has commented on Let Loose Larry Cirignano's alleged attack on an innocent woman:
Judge David Ricciardone's ruling today is unbelievably absurd. Either he didn't understand what actually happened, or he has no understanding of constitutional law.

This from Brian Camenker and we all know how "up on the law" Brian & Amy are don't we! Hmm...when did they pass the bar? But wait, there's more:
Our question to you: Do you get it yet? This happened to David Parker; it happened to Larry; it happened to Diane Steele. It could happen to you next. The
time for us to be "polite and reasonable" seems to have passed.

Yeah it could happen to you too if you take the law into your own hands and then you deserve what you get. This is comedy! According to them what Let Loose Larry, Mad Dad Parker and Slap Happy Mom Steele did was "polite and reasonable", I guess I'd be afraid what they'd do when they're not. When pushing an innocent woman to the ground, holding up in an elementary school and slapping a man on street is considered "polite and reasonable" then someone is really out of touch.

District Court Judge Says NO!

John over at Live, Love & Learn is reporting that a district court judge refused to dismiss the civil rights charges against Larry Cirignano:
A district court judge has refused to dismiss a civil rights charge against the former Catholic Citizenship executive director, who allegedly pushed a gay marriage supporter to the ground during an anti-gay marriage rally in December.Larry Cirignano, 50, of Arlington, Va., is also charged with assault and battery in connection with the Dec. 16 incident outside City Hall.

I can already hear the cries of unfairness over at Massresistance. How do you think they're going to spin it this time? I'm sure it must beneficial to Romney to have an alleged assaulter and a potential civil rights violator sign a "conservative" document against him. I wonder if this is the "prominence" that Massresistance was bragging about on their website.

"Family Value" Republicans & Sexual Indiscretions

Why is it always the conservative Republicans, you know that ones who scream "family values" and want to pass "family" friendly laws, are the ones who are caught with the sexual indiscretions and crimes?

Recently there was the "Family Values" Senator Vitter who frequented the prostitution ring in D.C (and also in New Orleans) and then we had Florida Rep. Bob Allen. This Republican was caught trying to solicit sex from an undercover officer in a bathroom:
Rep. Allen is the author of failed Florida House Bill #1475, the "Lewd and Lecivious Behavior Act" which would have made public masturbation in the presence of another adult illegal, whether the other adult consented or not. Florida statutes already cover such behavior for when a minor is present and the bill died in committee in two months ago. I'm pretty sure Rep. Allen was violating #1475 when he offered to blow that cop, doncha think? Lucky for him it didn't pass!

And now, over at Pam's House Blend we find another Republican:

N.C. legislator resigns after misconduct allegations surface

Yeah, and the hit parade continues for the GOP-ers, though in this case it's hard to tell what he did, but Stanly County Republican Rep. David Almond abruptly resigned today after a personnel complaint was lodged with the Speaker's office alleging "serious improper behavior." Almond was vice chairman of the House committee on children, youth and families, BTW.

Hmm...who will be the next Conservative "Family Values" Republican resigning for sexual indiscretions?

A Who's Who of Nobodies

I was over at Massresistance/Article 8/Parent's Rights Coaltion/et al and I was reading their current headline:

Twenty-two prominent conservatives take major conservative magazine to task in public letter. roundly criticized for publishing “puff pieces” after $10,000 donation from Romney camp. More.
So I was interested in who these 22 "prominent" conservatives were so I clicked on the link. Lo and behold I had a HUGE laugh, just look at these "prominent" conservatives:

Sandy Rios, President, Culture Campaign
Dr. Scott Lively**, Esq, Defend the Family International (signing as a private citizen) holocaust-revisionist
Larry Cirignano**, Esq. (former Executive Director, Catholic Vote) up on civil rights and assault charges
Dr. William Greene, President, RightMarch.com PAC who?
Linda Harvey**, Founder, Mission America like Brian is the head of her own organization
Peter LaBarbara**, President, Americans for Truth-Action (signing as a private citizen) AKA Porno Pete
Gary Glenn, Chairman, Campaign for Michigan Families Another Who?
Michael S. Heath**, Executive Director, Christian Civic League of Maine
Rev. Ted Pike, National Prayer Network thinks the Jews are behind the DaVinci Code
C. J. Doyle, Director, Catholic Action League (Massachusetts) confirmed bachelor (is he still living with Mom?)
Brian Camenker*******, President, MassResistance
Diane Gramley**, President, American Family Association of Pennsylvania, (signing as a private citizen)
Ray Neary, Director, Pro-Life Massachusetts/Project Parent (former President, Massachusetts Citizens for Life)
John Haskins, Parents' Rights Coalition
John Russo, Marriage and Family, Massachusetts
Carol McKinley, Co-Founder, Faithful Voice, veteran Massachusetts political activist
Mark Charalambous, Spokesman, The Fatherhood Coalition (Massachusetts)
Amy Contrada**, Director of Operations, MassResistance
Guy Adams, Dir., ValuesUSA (signing as a private citizen)
Rev. Roger Anghis, President, RestoreFreeSpeech.org
Linda Kimball, Patriots And Liberty
Nedd Kareiva, Director, Stop the ACLU Coalition

**Obsessed with Gay people and could probably make a living out of their anti-gay activism.

(There are so many nobodies that I got tired of googling them all. You would think if they were that prominent they would be well known, I guess not! Feel free to share your knowledge of these nobodies in the comments section)

It's a virtual Who's Who of inconsequential people. It starts off with Sandy "I used to be with the Concerned Women of America" Rios, a divorced woman who I'm sure is concerned with family values and it includes the three losers from Massresistance (and as Bostonph points out, Amy is listed as Director of Operations, LOL). The rest are people who don't even blip the radar and they're supposed to be "prominent"!

Talk about trying to make oneself appear important! I'm sure Romney is shaking in his shoes.

More Threats and Deception Because of a Fake Church

Ms. Massresistance is saying that "the sky is falling" because a lesbian couple is suing some "church" in New Jersey, well, it's not really a church, it's actually a seaside resort claiming to be a church. Oh, and while all this takes place in New Jersey she warns "IT WILL HAPPEN HERE IN MASSACHUSETTS" cue the organ music. Ms. Massresistance also got her news from...shh...Canada! That's right, she's getting her news from the country she always slamming and calling immoral.

Psst, uh, Amy, dearest, we've been getting legally married here in Massachusetts since May 2004. It's 2007 honey, where's the lawsuits? That's over 3 years babe, where are they? New Jersey's civil union law just went into effect and it still hasn't happened here so enough with the threats and warnings. You and your people are the ones threatening lawsuits, remember that funky law student? How about Kris Mineau threatening to take the legislators to court because they voted their conscience? How about David Parker and the Wirthins suing in federal court over a children's book? If the sky is falling it's because you're pulling it down!

One more thing, that seaside resort really isn't a church anyway. How can I be so sure? Well, the Pope told me. You see the Catholic church is the one true church and all the others are, well, not churches:

Pope Benedict XVI has reiterated the Roman Catholic Church's position that other Christian denominations aren't true churches, meaning that his followers are the only ones who will achieve true salvation

So for all you people kissing up to the church for it's participation in the anti-gay marriage amendment, there you go. All the faithful Catholics knew this all along and just strung you all along (Amy loves to quote the faithful Catholics). So that's settled, as long as a Catholic Church isn't being sued it's OK. If Ms. Massresistance still wants to call the other places "churches" I guess she can but that won't make her correct.

Thanks Pope Benedict XVI for settling that one!

Semper Fi

After reading about this movie on Pam's House Blend, my husband and I got to catch it the other night (If you get Showtime, you can watch it "On Demand"):

Semper Fi: One Marine's Journey
The movie is absolutely stunning. Not only is this film about a gay man in the military but it's the story of the war in Iraq itself. This is the first time I've seen the Iraq war through the eyes of someone who was required to be there. The movie intertwines the stage play, interviews and actual footage from Iraq. Edge Boston has an article and interview with Jeff Key, the marine in the film:

In the Showtime documentary Semper Fi, we learn about Key’s background, his family, his friends, and the tour of duty he served in Iraq, where he kept a journal full of hilarious and wrenching insights. Some entries, such as the one in which Key compares the hot desert wind to Satan’s flatulence, left his comrades-in-arms rolling with laughter; others detail Key’s deep concern for the toll the war has taken on Iraqi civilians, especially children. Upon his return to the States, Key turned to his journal for source material in the writing of his one-man play, The Eyes of Babylon.

If you get the chance I highly recommend this insightful film.

Going to Florida this Summer?

If you're traveling to central Florida in the summer months I have a great exhibit for you to see:

NAZI PERSECUTION OF HOMOSEXUALS

@ the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Central Florida Maitland, Florida

The exhibit runs through August 25.

Here's a brief synopsis from the Orlando Weekly:

“The exhibition explores why homosexual behavior was identified as a danger to Nazi society and how the Nazi regime attempted to eliminate it,” wrote exhibition curator Edward Phillips in a press release. “The Nazis believed it was possible to ‘cure’ homosexual behavior through labor and ‘re-education.’ As their efforts to eradicate homosexuality grew more draconian, gay men became subject to castration, institutionalism and deportation to concentration camps.”

Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals, on loan from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., was unveiled in 2002. It’s the first major exhibition for English-speaking audiences with materials culled from more than 40 agencies in eight countries.

“The overarching idea was that they were doing political hygiene and cleansing. It was an endless spiral to endless purity,” notes Kenneth Hanson, an assistant professor of Judaic studies at the University of Central Florida. “The elements had to be cleansed in the way you get rid of a germ or virus. To them it wasn’t murder.”

Wow, how frightening familiar this sounds, "believing in curing homosexuals" and "political cleansing." And what about this thinking that they believed it wasn't murder, absolutely bone chilling. I'm sure in the day if people would have called them out on it they would have responded that "We're not murderers we are following God's law. You are ones who are anti-God"

What Has Massresistance Ever Done to Benefit Families?

I was reviewing some of my old posts and I thought a section of one of them would be good to repeat:

Now Brian Camenker, and Article 8 for that matter, is supposed to be "pro family" what exactly are they doing for the family? Where are they spending [time and] money to actually help families? What causes do they support that actually supports families, and I'm not talking about gay families either. Every thing Article 8 does is about homosexuality, they don't care about families. They have not done anything which would even support a family with a mother and a father. They supposedly raise funds to keep their work going but what work is that? It's work to bring down the judges. Their money isn't going to actual people. Whose family do you think is benefiting from the money that gets donated? Article 8 is definitely ANTI-family.

Some things have changed since I wrote this (Brian Camenker now calls his group Massresistance) and some things have not (Brian Camenker and Massresistance are still anti-family). I think it is imperative that if they are ever quoted or referenced in the newspapers again and he or Massresistance are identified as "pro-family" then we need to write in and question their use of that term. They should have to explain what it is they actually do that is beneficial to families.

The Sanctity of Marriage

Hat tip to Below Boston

"Family Values" Senator Outed for Using Prostitution Ring

One of the biggest news today is that Louisiana Senator David Vitter, the man who co-authored the Federal Marriage Amendment got caught:

Louisiana Sen. David Vitter, whose telephone number was disclosed by the so-called ''D.C. Madam'' accused of running a prostitution ring, says he is sorry for a ''serious sin'' and that he has already made peace with his wife.

Here's what he had to say just last year about the marriage amendment before he was outed as a john for prostitute ring:

"I don't believe there's any issue that's more important than this one," said Sen. David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican. "I think this debate is very healthy, and it's winning a lot of hearts and minds. I think we're going to show real progress."

And here's what he had to say about Massachusetts:

“This is a real outrage. The Hollywood left is redefining the most basic institution in human history, and our two U.S. Senators won’t do anything about it.

We need a U.S. Senator who will stand up for Louisiana values, not Massachusetts’s values. I am the only Senate Candidate to coauthor the Federal Marriage Amendment; the only one fighting for its passage. I am the only candidate proposing changes to the senate rules to stop liberal obstructionists from preventing an up or down vote on issues like this, judges, energy, and on and on.” stated David Vitter.

And as Below Boston noted from the Boston Globe:

[Massachusetts has] High education rates, low teenage birth rates, low divorce rates - real family values that we actually live and not just spout off about.

Lovely, just lovely.

This is How Massresistance Lies

They just posted this new rant about the law student who flunked the Massachusetts Bar Exam:

Boston man failed Mass. Bar Exam because he refused to answer question on 'gay marriage' - files federal lawsuit.

We keep being told that 'gay marriage' won't affect us. We're now seeing that one of its effects is to legally push the normalization of homosexuality into everyone's lives -- in one way or another -- and punish those who don't go along with it.

A man is being forced to sue the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court over being answer questions on homosexual "marriage" legal situations in order to pass the bar exam and practice law in Masachusetts.

OK, Brian, if the gay marriage question was the ONLY QUESTION he didn't answer and get wrong you'd be right, but what about all the other questions this flunky got wrong? Maybe he didn't answer the marriage question because he didn't know the answer.

We're back to the blame game, as Brian Camenker said on Mass Hysteria, if he had enough time he could link gay marriage to anything including bad air quality!

Is there something like 200 questions on the Bar Exam? I'm guessing that out of the 200 questions, one dealt with a gay issue (since this flunky hasn't contested any other questions). It appears he got more questions that deal with straight people wrong than he did not answering the one "gay question". (There are a lot of gay lawyers in the state that have no problem passing the Bar exam when most of the questions pertain to heterosexuals, I guess they're just smarter)

An unqualified law student failed the Bar exam, are we surprised that he's on their side?

I knew it: Boy's Life Magazine Turned Me Gay!

Oh, dear, lunacy is at an all time high. Ms. Massresistance is referencing a World Nut Daily post about "Big Sodomy"! She (and the Wingnuts over at WND) want the ex-gays to file a class action lawsuit against...you know, I give up, I have no idea who they want to sue:

Hopefully Americans aren't as slow this time to accept the findings, as we were when all we did was smoke. If you have a friend or relative who has been persuaded by the media, big business, politicians, university programs, including courses of study, or any person or group to try this deadly lifestyle, and especially if your friend or relative is already suffering from a serious disease contracted as a result of it, talk to him or her at the first opportunity about the very real possibility of starting a class-action lawsuit against the group or groups that persuaded them to enter into the activity that did them in.

Once again, the nuts are calling being gay "that deadly lifestyle". Does that mean I can sue the Boy Scouts of America and that girl in college (who made me realize I couldn't go through with it just to see) because those are things I did and didn't do that must have made me gay?

I mention the Boy Scouts of America because yes, I am in fact an Eagle Scout and I spent quite a few years in the Scouting program. It was GREAT too, I learned a lot about taking care of myself in the Scouts. I've learned and met many Eagle Scouts who are also now gay men. Who else would spent so much time earning merit badges, doing good deeds and performing service projects for the community? Most of the straight boys I knew were out drinking and trying to have sex with the girls. Unfortunately, the Boy Scouts have now turned away boys who might be gay or are gay identified and would probably drum out any boy wasn't identified as "straight".

And that girl in college, well, we never did get it on, although she wanted to and she was attractive, however, my parents always taught me to wait until I found someone I loved, and well, I really wasn't interested. My parents taught me that sex was nothing to be ashamed of, but it is much more special if you loved that person, oh and take protection, wear a condom (because there were a lot of diseases out there and you didn't want to catch anything.) Mind you, this was pre-AIDS and my parents were being VERY REALISTIC (kids have sex).

Sexually transmitted diseases have been around for centuries and you have to protect yourself from them whether you are straight or gay.

I think its a riot that these "conservatives" who want people to take responsibility for their actions are so quick to blame the media, big business and politicians. These are the same people who talk about frivolous lawsuits and yet are calling for a class action lawsuit, I guess Martha Stewart should watch out, as well as the high school drama clubs. It must be because nothing says "you gotta be gay" than watching "The Laramie Project" and learning about how Matthew Sheppard was beaten to death and tied to fence because he was gay.

These hate groups are probably starting to get scared that the victims of gay bashings just might start suing them for inciting violence with their words and hatred (which coincidentally is what stopped the KKK, thanks Southern Poverty Law Center!)

Tweedledum & Tweedledummer

I just recently included a link to Pam's House Blend on this site. Pam's been covering the actions of the homophobic right for a while now, on the now defunct Massresistance radio show even called her a "A nutty lesbian blogger" so I'm in good company. It was through Pam's House Blend that I first started following Porno Pete's actions (Porno Pete is Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality)

Having been going on both Porno Pete's & Massresistance's websites I've noticed lately that they have been posting the same anti-gay propaganda:

and finally, they both use Gay people to fundraise. Without us how would they fund their extra-curricular activity?

Porno Pete:

TAKE ACTION: Send Americans For Truth a $10 donation (postpaid) or make a $10 gift online and we will send you a “Truth Packet” that reveals some cold, hard realities about the homosexual agenda — including our booklet, The Homosexual Agenda Targeting Children.” The Truth Packet will guide you on simple steps you can take to start standing up for truth against the homosexual agenda
in your community. You’ll be shocked to see how the “GLBT” lobby is corrupting youth and converting the next generation to their ungodly cause. Send $10 (postpaid) to AFTAH, P.O. Box 5522, Naperville, IL 60567-5522, or go online to give HERE.

Massresistance:

Please consider DONATING to MassResistance!
Donate to MassResistance by credit card Donations can also be mailed to: MassResistance, PO Box 1612, Waltham, MA 02454(Become a monthly donor - email us!) Also, check out the MassResistance blog (for even more in-depth coverage)!

I guess these days the Anti-Gay Homophobic Web Ring is getting smaller and smaller and even though they keep repeating the same anti-gay propaganda they don't want people to know about the other anti-gay sites because that then infringes upon their fundraising ability.

The Latest Shocker: Massresistance Still Posting Anti-Gay Propaganda as News

For someone who is supposed to be always concerned with the truth (of course we know better) Ms. Massresistance just regurgitates the slop passed off as news by Bill O'Reilly of the Fox New Channel via the anti-gay Americans for "Truth" about Homosexuality:
The latest shocker: new violent homosexual gang activity is springing up in high schools across America. The O'Reilly Factor broke this news nationally a few weeks back, but since we don't watch much TV, we're only just now encountering this in Americans for Truth's report, "MUST VIEWING: Lesbian Gangs Raping Girls; GLAAD Tries to Block Airing of News Segment"(7-6-07).
Of course it does fit in with her obsession of all things gay however, the biggest issue with the post is that there are no facts to support the O'Reily news story. This up from the Southern Poverty Law Center:

Nine-millimeter Glocks painted pink? Dykes taking over? More than 150 lesbian gangs in the Washington, D.C., area alone? These claims are, as Wheeler ["Fox News crime analyst" Rod Wheeler] suggested, "very, very interesting." They're also very, very flimsy. Gaithersburg, Md., Detective Patrick Word, president of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Gang Investigators Network, an intelligence-sharing organization of 400 criminal justice professionals in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, said there is no evidence whatsoever of a lesbian gang epidemic in his region. "Our membership reports only one lesbian gang," Word told the Intelligence Report.

(snip)
Confronted by the Intelligence Report, Wheeler was unable, in several phone and E-mail exchanges over a two-day period, to specify a single law enforcement agency or officer, police report, media account or any other source he relied upon for his D.C. area lesbian gangs claim. But he insisted that his report was accurate and that any law enforcement officer who disagrees is "out of touch." "For some reason or other, these organizations don't lay it on the line because they don't know what is going on on the streets," said Wheeler. "This is a serious crisis and the so-called experts are missing it."

Oh, and what about the TV report Ms. Massresistance says that GLAAD is trying to hide from the public:

Similarly, O'Reilly's introductory mention of a Tennessee lesbian gang called Gays Taking Over that is "involved in raping young girls" appears to have been based solely on a highly dubious Feb. 28 television report from WPTY-TV, an ABC affiliate in Memphis, Tenn. Featuring dramatic "reenactments" of high school bathroom rape scenes shot in grainy black-and-white footage, the lengthy segment's vaguely salacious claims about local high school girls being raped and "sodomized" with "sex toys bought on the Internet" was based almost entirely on the lurid musings of a single Shelby County gang officer.

Titled "Violent Femmes," the sweeps-week segment was so thinly sourced and grotesquely sensationalized that it's difficult to believe that any professional journalist found it to be credible. And it wasn't. Under intense pressure from local gay and lesbian activists, the affiliate's station manager finally admitted that WPTY-TV's reporters had neither independently verified the gang officer's overheated claims nor obtained any documentary evidence such as arrest records or written police reports to substantiate their tale. As the station grudgingly conceded, "Our investigation did not turn up widespread violence in schools due to this."

You can read all about the lies Ms. Massresistance is pushing over at the Southern Poverty Law Center's site. I guess their blog & Website is just like their failed radio show which had the subheading: "Local News and Views You won't hear anywhere else". The real reason you won't hear it anywhere else is because it isn't true!

A Man Who Represents Himself Has an Idiot for a Lawyer

And the Massresistance Legal Interpretation Award goes to Stephen Dunne of Boston who flunked the Massachusetts Bar Exam and is blaming it on the gays:
Stephen Dunne, 30, of Boston, is seeking $9.75 million in the suit against the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. He was denied a license to practice law in May after scoring 268.866 on the exam, just shy of the 270 passing grade.

Apparently there was a question concerning a same sex couple on the exam and Stephen, who I guess will chose which laws he wants to follow if is he ever allowed to become a lawyer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, chose to not answer the question and now he wants money, lots of it.

From the sound of his grade on the lawsuit exam, suing for 9.75 million is probably the only way he'll ever have a chance to make that amount. His federal lawsuit is also questioning the constitutionality of the equal marriage decision since I guess he doesn't believe it's legal (wow, is Amy tutoring him?)

He told the Boston Herald he has a law degree from a Boston law school and is currently attending a Boston business school but didn't say which school he exactly went to or where's he going. A lawyer from Goulston & Storrs states it succinctly in the Boston Herald:
“Lawyers have to answer questions about legal principles they disagree with all the time, and that doesn’t mean we’re endorsing them,” said Dacey, a director of Goulston & Storrs’ litigation group. “You might be somebody who is morally opposed to divorce, but have to interpret the divorce laws of the commonwealth to answer a question about who property is passed to.”

Romney, Massresistance & Porn

Ms. Massresistance is off the gays (I'm sure for only for a brief time) and again attacking Mitt Romney, you remember him: the former absentee Massachusetts governor; the guy who Massresistance blames for removing them from WTTT, does the name ring a bell? Well, she is now posting about the apparent hypocrisy of Mitt being on the Marriott Board of Directors when Marriott allowed pay-per-view porn in the Marriott hotels. They want to know how much money Romney has made on hotel porn:

While Mitt Romney served on the Marriott Hotels Board of Directors for ten years in the 1990s, he benefitted financially from the chain's profiteering on hard-core pornography (available via in-room TV). If we break down Marriott profits during the period when Romney was involved, how much money did this devout Mormon make from porn purchases?

The same could be asked of Massresistance. They are the ones who put up, what they claim to be "gay porn" on their website (and repeatedly mention it in their emails) only to raise money to pay Brian Camenker and "volunteer" Amy's salaries. Likewise, they go after Romney for talking out of both sides of his mouth when they've done exactly the same:

  • They claim to have Judeo-Christian values but are left standing with the plank in their own eyes as they are trying to remove the splinter's from other's eyes, including the sin of pride;

  • They claim that they are against the "Vote On Marriage Amendment" yet at every instance A & B attack the Massachusetts legislators for not approving it. (Brian Camenker even signed the petition to put it to the voters all the while saying he was against it);

  • They talk about gay people being "overly concerned with youth" when they are the ones entering both school and outside events videotaping and recording youths against their parent's permission and publishing their pictures on their websites.

Back to the Romney bashing, it all comes to light in a link provided by Pam's House Blend:

The poll results indicate that 50% of all Christian men and 20% of all Christian women are addicted to pornography," said Clay Jones, founder and President of Second Glance Ministries whose ministry objectives include providing people with information which will enable them to fully understand the impact of today's societal issues. 60% of the women who answered the survey admitted to having significant struggles with lust; 40% admitted to being involved in sexual sin in the past year; and 20% of the church-going female participants struggle with looking at pornography on an ongoing basis.

I wonder if Massresistance knows the Christians who took this poll and know that they are lying (because we all know that a Christian would NEVER lie) Isn't one of the conservative principles taking responsibility for one's own actions and not blaming others for things that you do? Maybe, just maybe, Romney is trying to attract those 50% of Christian men who are addicted to pornography, you never know.

Are They Trying to Get on WRKO?

Here's another post by Amy that took me a few days to get to: Gregg Jackson on Homofascism in Massachusetts. Do you think Ms. Massresistance likes this Talk Show joke from WRKO just because he mentions Brian Camenker in his post which she copies:

The Cradle of Liberty is now the Cradle of American Fascism. Persecution of Christians is the next step. People who believe the Bible and don't accept the doctrine that homosexuality is normal and natural began years ago. Brian Camenker, the main Massachusetts critic of the gay agenda, has been viciously persecuted for years. His radio program was taken off the air a few weeks before the legislature's tyrannical vote. ... Funny. That's exactly what the communists do when they takeover a country: silence critics....

Of course I looked for a disclaimer or a correction on Amy's Blog to refute this paragraph but couldn't find anything. You see the reason I'm looking for some kind of note is because just a few short weeks ago, OK, more than 6 weeks ago, when Brian and Amy got booted from WTTT they blamed it all on Mitt Romney:

Mass-Resistance RadioShow

WTTT / Salem Radio has announced that it has permanently canceled the MassResistance Radio Show, after nearly two years of continuous weekly broadcasting.

Information from a Salem Radio source leads us to believe that pressure from the campaign of a certain Republican presidential candidate whom we've widely criticized prompted this decision.

Full report coming up later this weekend -- including what you can do

Maybe that right wing Christian Radio Station was an advocate for Same Sex Marriage all along too, Brian & Amy are right again! It's all a conspiracy!

She's An Expert On Surveys Too! Who Knew?

Ms. Massresistance has taken off her lawyer's hat and is now wearing her scientist's cap, or in her case, a dunce cap. Her latest post is about the Youth Sexual Behavior Survey which was written about in BayWindows:
The unsurprising part of the report must be this: "The YRBS [Massachusetts survey] also found that sexual minority youth were at greater risk for contracting HIV and other STDs than their peers. In 2005, sexual minority youth were twice as likely to report having been diagnosed with HIV or another STD as their straight peers."

Once again Amy sees only what she likes to see. In today's schools there is lots of sex education for heterosexual youth (Massresistance LOVES to complain about all the Sex Ed) but rarely does the education include information beneficial to GLB youth. Additionally, that second sentence also shows that the same youth is more likely to report it unlike the heterosexual youth who may keep that information hidden. (Hmm...could the GLB youth, in their quest for becoming straight be getting the STDs from the heterosexual youth who aren't reporting it? So many questions!)
Back to the pregnancies. We're confused: who exactly is getting pregnant here, part-time "lesbian" girls or "bisexual" girls? And who is impregnating them? Other lesbian girls? Bisexual boys? Or are the girls consorting with (horrors!) heterosexual males? Or is it just "bisexual" girls we're talking about? Then why doesn't the story say just "bisexual"? We think it's because that would expose the absurdity of that term, which heightens awareness that all the "GLBT" identities are really chosen behaviors, not an innate characteristic.

Why oh why is Amy obsessed with whether its lesbian or bisexual girls getting pregnant and by who? (this curiosity should be a bit of a concern for her therapist). As a gay person this whole issue is not that surprising since there is a lot of pressure to be straight. When I was coming out I labeled myself as "bisexual" because I was too afraid to admit I was gay. I knew I was gay but in constant fear of people like her judging me as a abnormal. Luckily I aged and learned that people like her are really the abnormal ones but it's something you don't realize when you're young.
First of all, are there standard, accepted definitions for the words "lesbian, gay, and bisexual", known to teenagers taking the survey? And are all the teenagers who so identify on the survey sincere, or are some of them pulling someone's chains? We've commented before that we have overheard kids joking about how they lie on this survey for the fun of it, about their "sexual identity" and a lot of other things, including suicide, drug taking -- you name it.

This paragraph is clearly the funniest of the post. They judge the whole survey by the kids THEY overheard. LOL Because I'm sure the kids they are eavesdropping on aren't lying because these two old bags are listening in on our conversation! How many of the 24,000 students who've taken the survey do you think Brian and Amy have listened to?

Their questions concerning surveys are no different that surveys they've used as a basis for their hate (Only 1.4% of Adults Homosexual? ) But you see, they only seem to believe surveys that are conducted by people who were dropped by the American Psychological Association or conducted by extremely biased organizations.

I Just Called To Say I Love You!

It's taken me a bit but I finally got around to listen to Brian Camenker on The Christian Education League's podcast (it's titled Homosexual Totalitarianism) and let me tell you, if you like lies and deception, you'll love it!. I guess Brian must have phoned right after the ConCon ended so Mike Heath of the Maine Christian League could get the "scoop" on what happened. Throughout the podcast Brian tries to link himself alongside MFI as part of the"pro-family movement" in Massachusetts (when in reality no other so-called "pro-family" group in Massachusetts will even mention their name never mind link themselves to Massresistance/Article 8/Brian Camenker.)

On the whole podcast, it's pretty lame, it's really more of the same. Same old stories, same old references, he must have used the term "gloat" about 20 times (OK, I'm exaggerating, I think it was 10). He admonish MFI for putting forth the marriage amendment they did and claims it didn't pass because it was weak when everyone, including MFI, knows that they put forth that amendment because an amendment nulling all marriages since May 2007 would be unconstitutional. Then again, Brian still expects the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court judges to get removed and that his bills will get voted on, reality has never been one of his strong suits.

I laughed when he even got in a plug for Mad Dad himself, David Parker. He dropped the "David Parker got arrested" line. (BTW, if you want to catch some recent pictures of Parker click here. Massresistance, clueless as ever, posts a picture of Parker with his interpreter and only manages to insult the interpreter as seen on the right.)

There is also a line at the end of the podcast that made me laugh. Michael Health, the guy who made the podcast, tells Brian that he should probably let him go because Brian probably has other "media" to talk to! That one had me rolling on the floor!

One is the Loneliest Number

At first I thought Massresistance's latest rant was just that, her latest rant. Then after pondering it for a bit it hit me, Ms. Massresistance is very lonely:

Last week, we were surprised to see that one of VoteOnMarriage's spokespersons agreed to be interviewed by the extremist homosexual newspaper, Bay Windows. ["VoteOnMarriage.org spokeswoman says another ballot campaign unlikely," 6-22-07.] One Ms. Barstow said another marriage amendment campaign is unlikely. Though we've heard VOM is still seriously considering one.)

Speaking with Bay Windows is in line with VOM's thinking --that it's possible to dialogue with these people, that MassEquality's Marc Solomon is an honorable man, and all that. But wait -- we're confused: Didn't we just read immediately after VOM's defeat that Kris Mineau, main spokesman for VOM, was accusing legislators of taking bribes? And where did those bribes come from? The very close-knit radical homosexual community, led by MassEquality and rallied by Bay Windows? Yet Barstow complimented MassEquality on doing a great job defeating her amendment! And bared her supporters' emotions to Bay Windows. Unbelievable

The title of her post is VoteOnMarriage Continues to Consort with Enemy which is really what got me to thinking:

No One Wants to Consort with Massresistance!

It's true! I think her latest post is a cry for help since no one on God's green earth is willing to stand side by side with her and Brian in their feeble attempt to rid the world of gay and lesbian people. Oh sure, they may have some Internet buddies in Maine who Brian can call now (Hat tip to MassMarrier) and then, but when push comes to shove, these buddies would just as soon thrown them under the bus as the Vote on Marriage Legislators would try to leverage their "No" vote for a committee chair (The leading powers in the State house refused to give perks for votes but Ms. Massresistance fails to mention that).

So today post makes me sad. Massresistance's only contact with people is when they attend gay pride rallies and parades and now that the anti-gay marriage amendment is dead there will probably be less meetings and events for them to videotape or record so what is an anti-gay bigot to do? We can take some consolation in that they have their past recordings. Even if no one bothers with them ever again, they can still watch and listen to the past and remember when they got mannequins removed from a Macy's window...and the world watched.....and laughed.

Update on Slap Happy Mother

Hat tip to Doodle Bean for pointing out this picture (by BostonLightCatcher) of the Slap Happy Mother who assaulted an equal marriage supporter. Article8/Massresistance is supporting this woman for the "alleged" crime she committed on July 14 at the Massachusetts Constitutional Convention.

As Doodle Bean correctly points out:

Note that the MassResistance screed maintains one photographer (a gay activist just hanging around a newsworthy event) took the photos. In fact, the first one was taken by 'qwrrty', who posted it on Flickr.com and his blog. The next three are from an AP photographer.

How long do you think it will be until the picture of Slap Happy Mom getting arrested is along side of the one with Mad Dad Parker handcuffed on the Massresistance website?

And what is "pedephilia"? Is that a "psychosexual disorder in which there is a preference for sexual activity with members of the Great Pee Dee Bancorp (Their NASDAQ is PEDE). Oh, now that's sick!
