Dumbledore is Gay

Yes folks, JK Rowling, the best selling author of the Harry Potter series confirms what many people had been thinking:

NEW YORK (Reuters) - J.K. Rowling has outed one of the main characters of her best-selling Harry Potter series, telling fans in New York that the wizard Albus Dumbledore, head of Hogwarts school, is gay.

Isn't it great! I can't wait to hear the fundies say that the author, who created the character is wrong.

So Dumbledore is gay. Now that the series is over. And it can have no effect on the story or his character development. Because the world needs more safely desexualized gay men who are gay in that nice harmless incidental way where it has absolutely nothing to do with any real aspect of their lives.

I think it's wonderful that the best selling children's series of all time has a major gay character even if it's not explicitly stated. There are lots of heterosexual men and women that don't marry and live a life in service of others.

Bravo J.K. Rowling for having your books reflect the reality of life.
